process. Here is where refinements are made and design concepts are
proven. MSI is well-versed in the art of prototyping not only at the
individual piece-part level, but also at the system/subsystem level.
Mechanical, electro-mechanical and electronic prototypes are fabricated
to enable the design team demonstrate the viability of a concept
and to prepare for manufacturing. Depending on the customer's needs,
prototypes are often used in extensive testing programs to validate
or further refine their technologies. At a minimum a prototype provides
valuable information to finalize a design and prepare for production.
