We have immediate openings for seriously talented Software Engineers with 5+ years of experience who wants to work on MSI's many and varied electrical and electro-mechanical engineering projects. Start contributing on day one to projects such as airborne particulate collection systems for manned and unmanned aircraft, ground-based collection systems, detector systems, machine control systems, and other fascinating programs.

Our software engineers develop embedded firmware for custom microcontroller applications, complete embedded or PC Windows programming, and design Linux- or Windows-based GUIs. Responsibilities include requirements clarification and development, architecture development, coding, testing, and documentation. We are specifically looking for high-caliber engineers experienced in Linux programming or Windows programming, including systems level programming, embedded programming, and GUI programming. Proficiency in object oriented languages, including C++, C#, or Java, is a must. If you have experience with satellite communications, that is even better.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science along with experience in hardware interface and embedded systems development could be substituted.
