We're looking for a mechanical designer/CAD drafter to help us complete the design and documentation packages for the varied engineering and manufacturing projects we've got. We have an immediate opening for a seriously talented Designer with 3+ years of experience who wants to work on MSI's many and varied electro-mechanical engineering/manufacturing projects. Start contributing on day one to projects such as airborne particulate collection systems for manned and unmanned aircraft, ground-based collection systems, detector systems, machine control systems, manufacturing processing equipment, and other fascinating programs.

Under the guidance of our engineering staff, the Mechanical Designer is responsible for mechanical and electrical design and layout, including 3D modeling, design detailing using GD&T, and configuration management. In addition, you will be responsible for generating project documentation including Product Specifications, ECOs, and assembly procedures. We are specifically looking for high-caliber designers with at least three years of experience in solid modeling and detailing in SolidWorks and/or Pro/Engineer Wildfire.

Associate's degree in Drafting or Computer Aided Design.
